All mouths closed. The other half of Ogbè. Endings, burial, and the wisdom of not rushing.

When a sitting must slow down. When the dead are named. When a child learns that night is not only fear.

Ọ̀yẹ̀kú is the closed road. In speech it is the pause, the òwe that warns, the elder who does not answer at once. Night keeps seed. The school teaches it so a learner does not treat darkness as empty. Draw four double marks. Say Ọ̀yẹ̀kú slowly — three tones, not one.
